Bobbie Jean Holland

Bobbie Jean Holland, age 88, of Marianna, Arkansas, passed away on July 20, 2026. She was born on February 15, 1938, in Lexa, Arkansas, and lived a life marked by love, kindness, and an adventurous spirit that touched everyone who knew her.

Bobbie Jean was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her son, Terry Bryant and his wife Melissa of Newark, Arkansas; her daughters, Debbie Davenport and her husband Joel Sr. of Forrest City, Arkansas, and Karen Sullivan and her husband Bill of Moro, Arkansas. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Tyler Davenport, Joel Davenport Jr., Kevin Sullivan, Clayton Sullivan, Joshua Flowers, Sarah King, Lee Brown, and Bradley Brown, along with sixteen great-grandchildren, Olivia Davenport, Brantley Davenport, Avery Brown, Hunter King, Caleb Brown, Kevin Sullivan Jr., Megan Sullivan, James Sullivan, Andi Sullivan, Jacie Sullivan, Hunter Balch, Haley Moore, Braydon Moore, Gage Moore, Truxton Flowers, and Teagan Flowers. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish her memory and the many ways she blessed their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo Doyle and Euda Linton Doyle, her first husband, Chester Bryant, her husband, Donald Holland, her two brothers, Edward Doyle and Paul Doyle, and her three sisters, Eunice Rohrschib, Louise Burnham, and Juanita Ross. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life, and she carried the strength of her family with her always.

Bobbie Jean worked as a seamstress, a trade that reflected her patience, skill, and attention to detail. Through her work, she served others with quiet dedication and pride. She was known for her steady hands and caring nature, and she approached life with the same warmth and perseverance that she brought to her craft.

In her free time, Bobbie Jean enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and wrestling. These interests reflected both her gentle side and her lively personality. She found comfort and joy in creating with her hands, spending time outdoors, and following the excitement of wrestling. Those who knew her best will remember her as someone who embraced life with enthusiasm and who found happiness in simple pleasures.

Bobbie Jean will be remembered as a loving woman who cared deeply for her family and friends. She was kind in spirit, adventurous in heart, and steadfast in the relationships that mattered most to her. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those around her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her life was a testament to devotion, resilience, and grace. Though she will be deeply missed, the legacy she leaves behind is one of love, family, and cherished memories. Bobbie Jean Holland will be remembered with great affection and respect by all whose lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Michael Davis officiating. A visitation for Mrs. Bobbie will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at Sand Hill Cemetery in Des Arc, Arkansas.
